We hired this photographer from the wedding expo because we liked their style. It wasn’t very posey and suited what we wanted for our wedding.
However, during our wedding day, and particularly during the dinner service, the crew members were found sleeping on a sofa. My cousin had to go and wake one of them up to go and take a photo for us at the dinner table. Of course- your wedding day is once in a lifetime, and there are no redos , so if they were a start up, I felt that I needed to relay this feedback to them.
After explaining what had happened – their lead photographer took full offense and not only did NOT apologise , but started explaining how they are people and need breaks (they had their breaks before the ceremony which we had all agreed on during the run down)
so it was acceptable for the whole crew to be sleeping during the service ?
Not only this, but they chose to make it a personal attack and said “I don’t understand why someone like you would be disappointed, it was a nice day and you have a nice husband”
I’ll give them the credit for good photos in the end, but I would rather take my business elsewhere as there are many other photographers out there who not only take beautiful photos but also understand customer service and won’t sleep at your wedding and still charge you overtime for it.
