We all know what a western wedding looks like from Hollywood movies. Wearing a white wedding gown walking down the aisle, taking the rings off the white ring pillow to put on his/her finger, release white doves into the sky, drive away in front of friends and relatives in a white convertible…
And, for the Chinese, starting from the red pocket, red traditional gown, double happiness postings on the wall, almost every single item you can see are as red as they can possibly get. And, even those undergarments are red, but you just don’t get to see them unless if you are the groom.
Nowadays, all those in Hong Kong, or even the entire Chinese population, weddings are neither only in red nor only in white. They are almost always in a combination of red and white to please their parents and yet fulfilling that dream wedding in every bride’s mind.
