A Hong Kong based lifestyle photographer and creative, I've taken photos for magazines, major fashion campaigns and corporations for over a decade. But the new heart and soul of my work centres around helping couples and families to record their landmark moments - weddings, birthdays, graduations and more.
As a social media "influencer", I have been featured by Instagram as a"Suggested User", and seen my work highlighted by VSCO, Flickr, and more. As a direct result, I have collaborated with numerous brands on their social media branding, content creation and visual identity.
In 2016, I appeared on Austria's Next Top Model as a photographer and social media consultant, and also was featured by Emirates Airlines' in-flight magazine as their "Entrepreneur of the Month".
My photography and prints have been exhibited in places as far away as Russia and Australia, and published in various fine art periodicals as well as news portals such as BBC and The Guardian. I recently completed a stint as guest editor of 500px.com - the world's most progressive and dynamic photography platform.
The son of Malaysian parents, I grew up in Hong Kong and studied law at undergraduate level in England. I qualified as a lawyer, but it wasn't for me. I returned to photography, my love of which had endured since the 90s and my initial forays into medium format film.
I teach social media photography and DSLR photography workshops at my studio space in Hong Kong, The Kandid.
