IRENE & KARSON
Irene and Karson’s wedding was our biggest event so far, featuring a cast of 1,800 guests, opera singers and a ceremony and banquet reception held over two days. The banquet was set in one of the vast halls of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and so required a far more expansive setting to create the couple’s Victorian French theme. Floral displays and LED walls of French gardens provided a 360-degree backdrop. A main concern of the couple was that all 1,800 of their guests would feel included in the celebration. Opera singers were hired to entertain guests as they arrived and a long candy table was set up adjacent to the queue that would form as guests waited their turn to greet the couple. The stage was configured into a T-shape with tables arranged either side so each one would be in a good position to view the day’s proceedings.
